YTB Travel Cancellations

There are very few YTB Travel agents making any money. MLM schemes have been around since the cave man and will be around until our world is gone. There have been a few successful and profitable MLM companies around such as Mary Kay, Amway and many others However, YTB Travel is not or never will be one of them.

Here are a few facts you may want to know if you are contemplating becoming a YTB Travel cult follower.

(A). YTB Travel has never made a profit since begining its' operations and has accumulated 14 million dollars in losses to date.

(B). YTB Travel has not filed its' financials for all of 2006 and to date.

(C). YTB Travel has been removed from the listing of O-T-C Bulletin and now is listed on the so called "Pink Sheet" because it failed to file financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

(D). YTB Travel stock has been on the rise lately due to its overzealous affiliates running up the stock price. YTB Travel refers to these affiliates as "Gung Ho's." Nevertheless, one of the corporate officers has been selling his stock.

(E). YTB Travel revenues came primarily from selling business opportunities rather than from selling its core product; which is suppose to be travel right?.

(F) YTB Travel's $6000.00 guarantees a minimum commission for recruiting even more participants.

(G) One of YTB Travel's operators include a minister who has a primary accomplishment of building a large church congregation.(T.D. Jakes?)

(H) YTB Travel's compensation program is tied to the promise to issue large blocks of stock at a set price much below today's market price.

In closing, multi-level marketing is not illegal. Most collapse because of potential abuses in the business structure that creates the condition of a Ponzi scheme. 1. Many MLM companies collapse within 5 years. What are YTB Travel's real numbers? 2. Can YTB Travel's current business model ever be profitable? 3. Would regulators be concerned if YTB Travel participants are being encouraged to form an affinity group to buy the stock? and 4. What are the legal and financial effects of promises of large blocks of below market stock into an MLM organization at $1.00 per share?

Consumers or potential travel agents looking at YTB Travel and other MLM companies and card mills such as Pro-Travel, World Ventures , Travelwize, Coastal Vacation Club , Travelogia, VIP Travel Team and GTI should be careful and don't fall for the hype, gimmicks and high pressure tactics. If you are serious about travel seek out a reputable company like Traverus Travel and not one of these bums.

YTB Travel Cancellation News

YTB Travel Cancellation News: This report from LaVERGNE, Tenn. -- A group of high school seniors in Rutherford County may not be able to take a class trip with their friends after a woman allegedly took their money.

Alleged(YTB Travel) Trip Scam Robs Students' Families

The(YTB Travel) trip they were planning to take has imploded and now police are looking for a woman who may have stolen thousands of dollars from unsuspecting parents.

For many seniors in high school, it's become a rite of passage for every student to be able to go on one last trip with their classmates before graduation.

But some students from LaVergne High School are learning that their(YTB Travel) dream vacation has become a nightmare.

"My son came home and was telling me about a(YTB Travel) trip that was being scheduled. Initially, I was under the impression that it was a school sponsored trip, so I started sending in money and whatever deposits he needed," said parent Uvonne Gooch

Over the past nine months, Gooch sent more than $500 to a woman named Cynthia Anderson(YTB Travel rep), who said she was organizing a(YTB Travel) senior trip to Jamaica.

Last month, Gooch learned the tour company(YTB Travel) that Anderson was supposed to be paying the cruise to hadn't received a dime.

"YTB Travel told me themselves, 'We (YTB Travel) didn't know anything about a trip, but let us (YTB Travel) research and see what's going on.' They got back with me and said, 'Yes, Cynthia is affiliated with us(YTB Travel), but we(YTB Travel) didn't know anything about the trip,'" said Gooch.

Not only are Gooch and the other parents out of their money, but the graduates now have no place to schedule a vacation to in such a short period of time before graduation.

"The trip is off. It's cancelled. I have the e-mails. It's cancelled," said

What concerns Ms. Gooch the most is that some parents still think the trip is on and may still be making payments to Anderson.

The alleged scam seems to have affected more than just LaVergne High School. Anderson had reportedly approached every high school in Rutherford County with the same offer.
